The 2012 running of the Phillip Islet Model Festival of Motorsport was held March 18-20 at the 4.445 km Phillip Islet Track in Victoria, Australia. Numerous anniversaries were celebrated at this year’s Phillip Islet Model, south of Melbourne, Australia. In addition to five hundred home cars there were out of the country competitor from USA, UK, Denmark and New Zealand.
The southern hemisphere’s biggest significant race meeting, the Model was shortlisted in the International Historic Motoring Awards in 2011.
